What is Scratch?

Scratch is a block-based programming language that clearly explains fundamental programming concepts such as variables, loops, data types, conditional statements, and more. It is an ideal tool for those just starting their journey in programming. The most comfortable age to start is 7 years old.

Scratch Learning Program

The course consists of 4 thematic blocks. At the end of each block, students present their final projects, whose functionality includes all the material covered.

Block 1 "Scratch Programming Fundamentals"

In this block, students will learn how Scratch works, get acquainted with the interface and basic tools. They will implement simple animations and projects such as "Clicker" and "Penguins".

Block 2 "Algorithms and Logic"

Study of loops, variables, and conditional statements through the creation of thematic projects and games. Students will learn to use the coordinate plane and interact with sensors.

Block 3 "Final Projects and Creativity"

Deepening skills in creating games and multimedia projects. Projects such as "Maze", "Ping-Pong", animations with musical accompaniment, and quizzes will be implemented.

Block 4 "Games and Multimedia"

Students will apply all learned skills to create complex games such as "Farm", "Car Racing", "Flappy Bird", and also present their work as part of the final project defense.

Ping-Pong

In the "Ping-Pong" project, students will learn to control sprite movement, apply sensors, loops, conditional statements, and variables for game logic. They will also master adding sound effects and object interaction in the game.

Flappy Bird

In the "Flappy Bird" project, students will learn to create dynamic sprite control using "Events", "Control", and "Variables" blocks. They will also master developing game mechanics with obstacles, random numbers, and scorekeeping.
